KSB Pumps in Test

The elastomeric MetaLine coating technology is the winner of the pump coating test carried out by KSB Pumps (Germany). In comparison with 25 competitors our material technique with an up to 35 times higher wear resistance has won through!

As the only (!) synthetic coating at all, MetaLine has been classified by KSB as a functional cavitation protection! The erosion resistance was even rated double as high as that of the KSB special material "Noridur"!

METALINE SERIES 700

MetaLine Series 700 coatings go far beyond simple repairs. Optimization of existing pump constructions by means of life-time extension and efficiency increase is a central issue. At the same time it is possible to reduce ongoing maintenance cost. Basically elastomeric coatings can be used as wear layer to protect the original component and mainly its static behavior. This wear layer may be renewed at low cost, if need be. The casing's strength and geometry is thus preserved.

Repair of rubber pump semi-shells enables a special form of cost optimization. Existing exchangeable parts can be completely regenerated with minimum effort and expenditure. Cost savings compared to purchase of new parts are considerably.
